We traveled to Raleigh, North Carolina for a tournament in November 2011. We beat the South Carolina State Champs, tied the New York Patriots Team and lost to the Florida State Champs 1-0. Making our record for the tournament 1-1-1. The weather was rainy and cold but we managed to see an Atlantic Coast Conference game (Duke vs Wake Forest). The back up goalie for Duke was Meghan Thomas former REAL goalie. Unfortunately we did not get to see Meghan play in the game. We managed to also visit the campuses of Duke University and UNC. This picture was taken at UNC BEFORE the Broncos played the Raiders (one of Tebow's first starting games). I had said to the girls let's all Tebow to send luck to the Bronco's and they can take on the Raider's...Looks like it worked!
The U11 Real Colorado Girls National team brought a little Denver to their tournament in Las Vegas and left as tournament Champions.
