Announcing Real’s soccer park naming contest, open to everyone in our club.
Our future home needs a name and who better to name it than our players, coaches, volunteers, partners and parents who will come to call our fields home. We want to hear your ideas - tell us your thoughts and you could win a one-of-a-kind Colorado Rapids experience!
The Prize:
The person who creates the winning name for our new soccer field complex will watch a Colorado Rapids soccer game from a fully-stocked Suite that can hold you and 19 of your friends. This Suite package includes a pre-game tour of the field and meet and greet with select Rapids players – an incredible experience for any soccer fan!
A few fun Park facts to get your ideas flowing:
The Park will have 6 fields when it’s finished, 1 grass and 5 synthetic
“Real” means “Royal” in Spanish
Real will have a soccer clubhouse like no other in the State that can hold team celebrations, special events and the Real Colorado staff offices.

HOW TO ENTER
A committee from Real Colorado will select the winning entry.
The winner and his/her suggested name will be announced during Casino Real, March 16, 2012. If the winner is not present at the event, he/she will be notified using contact information provided.
GENERAL CONTEST RULES
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. Federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Real Colorado will conduct its contest substantially as described in these general contesting rules, and by participating, each participant agrees as follows:
Entries are open to all connected to Real Colorado, including its players, coaches, partners, sponsors, employees and volunteers.
Entrants can enter as many times as they like prior to the deadline.
Entries will be accepted through Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. MT.
Real Colorado is not obligated to use any of the name submissions and may elect to create its own names for use independent of the Contest. In the event that none of the name submissions are used as the final name, one entry will be selected as the runner-up name and the individual who submitted the selected runner-up name will be awarded the grand prize.
Real Colorado reserves the right to add a sponsor’s name to the Park name determined in the Contest if at any point a sponsor requests naming rights.
By participating, where allowed by law, all winner(s) grant Real Colorado permission to use their names and likenesses in connection with promotion of this contest and waive any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for use. The winner or winner’s parent/guardian if under 18 agrees to allow Real Colorado to use his/her name for publicity purposes and to receive the Contest prize.
Entrants will not receive any compensation or credit for use of their entries other than that which is named the official naming contest prize.
If there is a duplication of the winning entry, all valid entries will be placed in a random drawing for the final winner to be chosen.
Finalist submissions will be posted on the Website (www.realcolorado.net) on Friday, February 24, 2012 ending on or about March 11, 2012 for voting. The winning name by vote will then be submitted to Real Colorado for final selection of one (1) Grand Prize Winner. In addition, Real Colorado will award runners-up prizes using contact information provided on the entry.
