The U14 boys Red team captured the championship of the Vail Shootout. They are led by coach Scott Warburton.
August 7, 2011 – Our U14 Girls Red team took home the U14 Girls Silver Division Championship in the 2011 Denver Cup. The girls earned their spot in the Final with an exciting come-from-behind 2-1 win vs Pikes Peak Rush Nike on Sunday morning. After a short break, it was back to work for the Championship match against a solid Arsenal Gold squad who hadn’t conceded a goal in the tournament. Real found the back of the net on a quality finish from Rachel DeRose in the 25th minute, then closed out the match with strong team defending and an excellent performance by keeper Claire Helwig.
The Real Colorado 97-98 Olympico team continues to improve, have fun, and also add a little hardware to the trophy case. By defeating El Paso Galacticas (TX-S) in the final they completed a perfect weekend of fun and sun!
